NEW MOON Moonstone Necklace

Inspired by far away galaxies, this beautiful little pendant is magical. It features two incredible Moonstone cabochons that are full of flash. Each stone will vary slightly since each piece is 100% natural. With a silvery light that seems to come from within, moonstone has many associations with the Moon. According to Hindu mythology, moonstone is made of solidified moonbeams. Many other cultures also associate this gem with moonlight, and it’s easy to see why. Its internal structure scatters the light that strikes it, creating a phenomenon known as adularescence. The visual effect is reminiscent of the full moon shining through a veil of thin, high clouds.

I design all of my pieces to look like ancient artifacts with a modern twist. Each pendant is handmade using the lost wax casting process and cast in either recycled .925 sterling silver or bronze. They hang from a solid lightweight chain that can be made in the length of your choice. Model is wearing 30" and 24"
