This 1930s French necklace has large jade-glass beads and smaller carnelian-glass beads with chrome caps. A donut-shaped faux pearl flanks each bead. Green and reddish-brown were a popular color combination in the Art Deco era, when this piece was made. I think these complimentary hues are just as fresh today. Large flat chrome links complete the length of this well-made piece, which closes with a decorative barrel clasp. An additional four links (which total one inch) are included, in case you need them.
